I'm sure you've seen this already, KFC's bunless sandwich.
CNN says:
"The bun-free ("so meaty, there's no room") sandwich features two pieces of bacon, two slices of melted cheese and "Colonel's Sauce" - which KFC officials said is a "zesty mayonnaise" -- slathered between two chicken filets, either original recipe (540 calories and 32 fat grams per KFC.com) or the slightly slimmer grilled version (460 calories and 23 fat grams)."
Jesus Christ. Is KFC trying to kill us? Are they the real terrorists?
That is just insane.

540 calories and 32 fat grams
ReplyDeleteThat is surprisingly low. Is that per filet? Wendy's Baconator Single comes in at slightly more than that, and it's only got a single patty with the bacon and cheese (and, of course, the bun).
I'm sure there are a number of sandwiches that have much higher calorie counts, but somehow because this one doesn't have bread it is actually more offensive than the rest. Which is sort of weird.
ReplyDeleteWait, there's a GRILLED version? So I'd be picking up grilled chicken with my bare hands to eat as a sandwich? At least as long as it's an oversized chicken tender I can visualize eating it with my bare hands...
ReplyDeleteChicken, bacon and cheeese with no annoying bread? MMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSeriously.
I am not much of a fast food eater but that sounds good.
The bread is the best part! All those lovely carbs, Mmmm...
