I know that "book learning" isn't your strongest point, however, and I say this with love, empathy doesn't mean what you think it means.
Empathy isn't a liberal code word. It doesn't mean "kill whitey" or whatever else you seem to think.
It's actually a quality that we humans treasure. Shocking, I know, but there you go.
Please stop beating the English language into the gound. Just because it is changable doesn't mean you can abuse it like this.

see, that's your error- assuming anyone in the GOP shares traits with humans.
ReplyDeleteWhen I wrote that I had a twinge of guilt that I had just classified so many people as "not-human". The more I thought about it, though, the more OK I was with that.
ReplyDeleteLOL being highly empathic is not so good all the time... I feed off peoples emotions like some sort of sappy vampire ;P
ReplyDeleteAnd then there's Jeff Sessions from Alabama who stated unequivocally that "I don't know what empathy means."
ReplyDeleteAnd yet, they still don't understand why we voted them out of office.
Kerri, you know pagans have ways of helping people deal with being highly empathic, I say to the athiest, LOL.
ReplyDeleteComhradh, I find it highly amusing that the fact that they lack empathy is part of the reason why they have no idea why people voted them out.
I was once madly in love with a witch. I think she found my excess empathy an asset. Something about having reserves of magical potential. I never got in to witchcraft myself, being the eternal atheist. She was very certain that I should though. Honestly if I ever come to believe in the supernatural I will take witchery or paganism over cross kissing any day.
ReplyDeleteWell, pagans are an easy going lot, and a lot more open minded than Christians, so there's that. That lack of SATAN might be why, heh.
ReplyDeleteYeah I was very surprised when I found that witches find Satan even stupider than atheists do. Imagine that.
