Neat!

My brother has been eagerly awaiting the first thunderstorm for the season. They don't have them in So Cal, so he has missed them.
Last night we had one.
Well, we had a massive hail storm. But there was thunder and lightning. Quarter-sized hail. Damndest thing.
So there you go, he got his storm.

  1. we only had a thunderstorm, but that involves 2 hours of comforting a terrified 100lb dog, so I'd take the hail.

  2. Ah, that's the joy of having cats, they are so much lighter. And the kitten just hides under my bed during storms. The old pissy one stands at the sliding glass door and watches the whole thing. Fearless bugger.

  3. My dog shivers and pants in a very pathetic manner while shoving his head under my shirt, in between bouts of running around the house looking for the magical place where the storm isn't.

  4. Awww! Mom used to have a big old dog that would try to climb in your lap when a storm came. And his eyes would get huge, whites showing and everything. Poor thing, the big dogs always get so freaked out by thunder!
