Someone on the board I got this from asked the same thing, LOL. It's probably a marmalade, after all this is a Southern treat. Though most people I knew made them by hand (it is so freaking easy, bisquick, sausage, cheese. Brown sausage, put in food processor w/ bisquick and cheese, blend. Roll into balls. Bake. Sheesh!)
What's really not right is that dipping sauce next to it- what is that, mango chutney?
